Summer 2015
Theme: Ocean Adventures
*A SUPER fun summer camp to keep kids active, learning, having fun and much MUCH MORE!
Who: Children ages 6-11

Where: The Hope Box Theater (home of Showstopper Academy)
1700 South 50 West (Frontage Road)
Kaysville, Utah
When: July 27- Aug 1
Time: M-F daily 10:30-11:45
F- 5:00-8:00 (concert)
S- 11-2 (field day)
Concert: Ed Kenley Amphitheater, Layton
Friday, July 31st - On stage rehearsal - 5:00
Concert begins - 7:00
Field day: Saturday, Aug 1st 11:00-2:00; Miniature Golf, Lunch,
Ice Cream and awards at Cherry Hill
Cost: $75 if registered by June 20. $85 registration begins June 21
(limited enrollment, so register today to secure you're place!)
Sibling discount - $65 for second child; $50 for third child +
Sibling discount does not change after early registration pricing ends
Students will enjoy:
- Rotating to different stations learning music through games and activities
- Creating a Shake, Rattle & Rhythm folder to take home at the end of the week including activities completed, more activities to do, and a list of resources
- Playing rhythms on several percussion instruments (shakers, drums, wood blocks, bells, etc)
- Making their own percussion instrument
- Learning within a group to play rhythms along with counter rhythmic parts as well as participating in a performance with an orchestra at the Layton amphitheater (see SummerStringsAdventureCamp.com)
- Receiving a Shake, Rattle & Rhythm T-shirt (this will be their performance attire for the concert)
- Meeting new friends, being instructed by excellent, experienced teachers, and having a GREAT time!
